Dr.Garrett Bullock
(PT, DPT)
I grew up in Crossville, TN. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Tennessee Tech University in 2022 before attending South College in Knoxville, TN where I earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in June 2024.
I love to stay active through playing soccer, hiking, and going to the lake. I enjoy watching Tennessee Vol football, USA soccer, and pretty much any big sporting event.
I grew up playing sports and learned to love exercise and physical activity. Then, in high school I took a human anatomy and physiology class that sparked my interest in how the human body moves. I did some research and found out Physical Therapy is a field of health care that has been described as “professionals of movement” and knew this was the career I wanted to pursue.
Some of my favorite parts of being a PT are the opportunity to build relationships with the patients, as well as seeing them gain back their confidence and comfort with their bodies as they navigate their rehabilitation journey.
I approach treatment with the “golden rule” in mind. I try my best to listen to the patient and understand their reason for being in our clinic. I want patients to know that they play an important role in their own plan of care and I am here to help and encourage them along the way. My goal is for every patient to gain confidence in their ability to take control of their health and fitness.
I get excited going to work to hear the success stories of patients between visits, as well as to see the smile and change in body language of a patient who is beginning to meet their goals.
